Consultation: Here at MAP Therapy, we offer a 15–20 minute phone or video call consultation. We will discuss made you seek mental health counseling. This is also your chance to get to know your therapist. This is free of cost.
Initial Session: The first official meeting is usually more structured; the goal is to complete paperwork, conduct assessments, create a treatment plan, and provide recommendations if necessary.
Ongoing Regular Therapy Sessions: Depending on your needs, ongoing therapy can consist of a minimum of weekly sessions for three months. Some clients choose to be seen twice a week for additional mental health support; this arrangement is typically temporary. Bi-monthly or monthly sessions are also an option.
Termination: It is an honor to work with clients throughout their mental health journeys. My clinical goal is for clients to become self-sustaining and well-equipped with the skills they need to regulate their physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social health. While our sessions will eventually come to an end, we will navigate that transition process together.
