I’m so glad to connect

My name is Allana Camba (she/her). I earned my Master’s in Education with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University. I currently practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Ohio, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Currently, I am completing my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Ohio University. My research focus are suicide among BIPOC individuals, and psychedelic education for mental health counselors. 

I am passionate for mental health, education, leadership, collaboration, and relationship building. I believe in sustaining healthy connections, belonging, and empowerment of every individuals.


Clinical Focus

Many challenges stem not only from biology but also from relationships, systemic barriers, and lack of access to resources. As you navigate life’s complexities, my role is to support your empowerment and guide you toward the growth and positive change you seek. Whether you’re carrying the weight of trauma, facing anxiety or depression, struggling with substance use, grieving a loss, or simply hoping to deepen your self-understanding, I am here to support you—with hope, compassion, and a commitment to your wellbeing.

Trauma-Informed Care

This approach to psychotherapy addresses the root of your experience, build life long resilience and post-traumatic growth.

Relational-Cultural Lens

Through culturally-sensitive psychotherapy, the delivery of care recognizes, respects, and integrates the unique cultural backgrounds, beliefs, values, customs, and behaviors of each client into their treatment plan.

Strengths-Based Lens

This lens view persons and their potential for healing, empowerment and growth. Individual deficits are addressed but not the locus of therapeutic sessions.

Attachment Approach

This approach explores how our early childhood bonds influence our adult mental health and relationship patterns. These early experiences shape how we navigate intimacy, trust, and conflict today.

Population

I work with adults (18+) and older adults, including BIPOC, immigrants, and underserved communities.

Harm Reduction

I offer supportive, and non- judgmental space for individuals to process their psychedelic experience. I do not promote the use of psychedelics, as prescribing or recommending them is outside the scope of my professional role.
